[MUSIC VIDEO] AQUAhydrate Flow

Brittany Chrishawn x Moor iLL

AQUAhydrate Flow is a short, freestyle project created in appreciation of jazzy hip-hop vibes.

The title of this song was inspired by the bottled water venture of Sean “Diddy” Combs and Mark Wahlberg – “AQUAhydrate Water”. The brand of water is supposedly the best water for athletes on the market. Similarly, Moor iLL and Brittany Chrishawn’s flow refreshes listeners and provides an alternative sound opposed to the status quo. They arguably have the most refreshing sound in the game.

To conclude, the song was written as a freestyle collaboration by Moor iLL and Brittany Chrishawn in March 2017. When Moflo Music emailed Moor iLL samples of his work, Moor iLL and Brittany were preparing to launch a marketing campaign together and needed instrumentals for promo videos. So they immediately took time to listen to the music samples in the email. After hearing this particular instrumental, Moor iLL began to record his freestyle verse. Without hesitation, Brittany Chrishawn followed and recorded her verse. A day later, they shot the video. This video was shot in Houston’s art district. As a result, the footage reveals another side of Houston, TX. Some footage was captured in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston while other scenes took place along the streets and sidewalks of the city.
